By naming this programme the Autumn Season, we certainly didn’t want to bring anyone down so soon after Summer with the realization of shortening days and colder nights.
With that in mind, we can promise some late summer treats including the recent box office smash from across the Channel – ‘The Count of Monte-Cristo’, Francis Ford Coppola’s controversial Cannes entry ‘Megalopolis’, Kate Winslet in ‘Lee’, Sir Ian McKellan in ‘The Critic’ and some of the best films form the recent Chichester International Film Festival.
We also present ‘A Greener Screen’ where we partner with Transition Chichester to showcase six films with a focus on the environment (including the much requested ‘Wilding’), plus a complementing illustrated talk. Look out also for a special screening to remember Keith Baxter (Chichester local), a Q&A complementing ‘Catching Fire: The Story of Anita Pallenberg’ with Marlon Richards (son of Pallenberg and Keith Richards), plus so much more.
