This Early Winter Season welcomes back the French Film Festival UK, with 20 francophone films including a host of features that will not get a normal release in the UK. Others are yet to be released, and we also present a couple of classics. Look out for the film 'The Tasting' which includes a special Wine Tasting event in partnership with Ashling Park Estate. There will also be two French related talks from our education team.
A third talk will focus on Native American representation on the big screen - this to complement Martin Scorsese's latest 'Killers of the Flower Moon.'
We also present a couple of films from the Jewish Film festival on Tour, and start a series of Greek inspired films to complement Pallant House Gallery's 'John Craxton: A Modern Odyssey' Exhibition.
Look out also for some huge releases - Ridley Scott's epic 'Napoleon' starring Joaquin Phoenix in the lead; Joanna Hogg's latest starring Tilda Swinton - 'The Eternal Daughter,' and Timothee Chalamet as the young Willy Wonka in a film that also stars Olivia Colman and Hugh Grant. We screen 'Wonka' in partnership with Montezuma's Chocolates.
