We welcome in the Spring with the best in cinema, including some of the biggest UK releases (‘Operation Mincemeat’ and ‘Downton Abbey: A New Era’); critically renowned European cinema (‘The Audition’ and ‘The Worst Person in the World’); edgy US indies (‘Red Rocket’ and ‘The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent’); documentaries to enthral (‘River’ and ‘Julia’); family films for all (‘Rabbit Academy’ and ‘Coppelia’); and a host of spectacular Performance events (‘Henry V’ and ‘Swan Lake’).
This year will see the Chichester International Film Festival turn 30. In association with other Chichester cultural institutions also celebrating big birthdays (including the CFT, Pallant Gallery, the Novium), and under the banner of CultureSpark, we present an array of cultural events in the district from late March to October.
The cinema will present six screenings of previous Film Festival Audience Award winners (focusing on themes including women, art, disability and the effects of war) starting this season with ‘Amélie’ and ‘Mountain Patrol’ – all at only £5. Join us, and help to celebrate the run up to our 30th anniversary.
