We believe everyone should be able to enjoy the magic of cinema — especially during difficult times. That’s why we’re committed to making our cinema as welcoming, accessible and affordable as possible for everyone in our community.
In December 2025, we launched our very first Affordable Family Film Weekend: Family Flicks was a joyful programme of family classics, creative workshops and low-cost fun designed especially for families who needed it most.
From beloved favourites like E.T., Wallace & Gromit and The Jungle Book to hands-on workshops in sound effects, stop-motion animation and set design, the weekend offered families a chance to enjoy something special together during one of the most expensive times of the year.
All film tickets were just £2.50 for adults and children, and thanks to the incredible support of partners including the BFI Film Audience Network through National Lottery funding, Clarion Futures, Hyde Housing and a fantastic network of local community organisations including Community Transport, HomeStart, Family Support Working, West Sussex Young Carers, Creative Beatz, UK Harvest, and Petworth Family Support we were also able to provide more than 200 free tickets to families most in need.
Following its success, we’re excited to grow the programme even further in 2026.
