Chichester Cinema is a registered charity. Our income mainly comes from our box office, and from the support and generosity of our Members and Festival Supporters and Film Partners.
We also receive income from memberships, advertising, sponsorship, local grants and some very kind contributions from private Foundations.
Cinema is a precarious business because you are always at the mercy of the films being produced and whether they will appeal to your audience and now we also face increasing competition from the streaming services.
We are fortunate to have a dedicated following of real cinema lovers who enjoy the collective and immersive experience of seeing a film with others, but the climate remains a challenging one.
Your donations will help us in our mission to enrich the cultural life of Chichester, welcome new audiences and serve our community - especially the young, the lonely, the more diverse and the economically disadvantaged.
