Live Music Performance & Film
The Luc Family (Yuriko, Imy, Maria and Kenji Luc) will be present and will perform various classical works for piano and cello, followed by a short documentary film about his life.
Short Film:
'The Journey of the Piano Tuner' is an intimate, poetic documentary (8min) that tells the dramatic story of Anva Luc and the day that changed his life. His journey takes him from a childhood during the Vietnam War of the 1970s to a new life in England as a piano tuner. Shot on the movie mode of a tiny digital camera, the film uses dreams and memories to reveal his extraordinary story.
We hope to welcome short film director Danny Weinstein to introduce the screening.
