Ex Google exec, Mo Gawdat, is a compelling voice on a compelling mission - yes there are so many scary reasons to fear the power of AI, but what if you could wire it to be benevolent, altruistic, compassionate? Or is that just laughably naive?

In Detail

Mo is a very interesting man with a very interesting story. In this highly cinematic film, Mo travels the world talking to AI experts and pioneers like Geoffrey Hinton, Fei-Fei Li, Yoshua Bengio, Sam Altman and Max Tegmark.

He is exploring, probing at the coal face of the tech and the huge issues it brings thundering towards us. The potential threats are all there: mass surveillance, automated warfare and job displacement. But, and it is a very urgent ‘but’, what if we bring to bear humanity's capacity for positivity, ethics and empathy to safely guide neural networks and prevent a dystopian future?

This is the challenge we all face. One laid out by a vivid communicator, eminently qualified to enlighten and guide. It is big thinking, approachable, engaging; could it be our future?
