A friendly group meets once a month over a drink to discuss a choice of three films from each programme.
On 28 Sep we will discuss:
OPPENHEIMER, described as the film of the year, stars dead-ringer and suitably hatted Cillian Murphy as the physicist Robert Oppenheimer who leads a team
of scientists to develop the atomic bomb.
PAST LIVES, a beautiful, aching story about childhood sweethearts reconnecting, premiering to impassioned applause at this year’s Sundance film festival.
MAIGRET stars the legendary Gérard Depardieu as one of the most beloved 20th century characters in crime fiction from the director of Monsieur Hire who portrays
the detective with devotion and skilful story-telling.
