Raised off-grid by activist parents, fashion designer Amy Powney of cult label Mother-of-Pearl had long been aghast at the devastating impact of her industry on the environment.

So, when she won the coveted Vogue Best Young Designer of the Year Award, she decided to create a clothing collection sustainable from field to finished garment with the aim of inspiring other designers to follow suit.

This is a poignant, informative and beautifully shot documentary of her three-year journey to achieve this and educate herself – and us – along the way.
