With a cinematic approach, this at times very tough-to-watch investigative documentary takes us on a revealing journey across Europe, confronting farmers, corporations and politicians, uncovering the connections between the meat industry, lobbying and political influence.

The film explores the billions of euros funnelled into intensive factory farming rather than supporting sustainable practices and delves into the realities of that intensive farming (using hidden cameras) and the complex issues it raises; water pollution and biodiversity loss, the exploitation of migrants and the flagrant flouting of the rules around animal welfare within the powerful Agrifood sector.
