A sharply executed, superbly performed Bulgarian tragic dramedy where the lives of a cosmopolitan PR woman and lonely railroad worker come together in some highly unfortunate ways.
Tsanko Petrov (Stefan Denolyubov), a railroad worker, finds millions of leva on the train tracks. He decides to turn the money over to the police, for which the state rewards him with a new wristwatch that soon stops working.
When the transport ministry's head of PR Julia Staikova (Margita Gosheva) decides to use him as a diversion from a corruption scandal, his simple life falls victim to the grinder of bureaucracy. She loses Petrov's old watch, a family relic, and here starts his desperate struggle to recover both his old watch and his dignity.
