Set against the backdrop of a busy winter sales period in a department store, this film follows the life of a cursed dress as it passes from person to person, with devastating consequences.
A haunted garment stocked by a venerable London retailer is at the centre of this strangely captivating film. It causes havoc for some unsuspecting customers, including newly divorced Sheila (Marianne Jean-Baptiste), who happens upon it while searching for an outfit for a date, and is convinced to buy it by a cryptic, highly persuasive shop assistant (Fatma Mohamed).
Meanwhile, after hours at Dentley and Soper, the female staff form a strange sort of coven, performing disturbing rituals which hint at the institution’s true sinister nature.
This film weaves a surreal spell, blending stylish horror and dark comedy to offer audiences a captivating treat.
