The Menu

Mark Mylod | 2022 | 106 MINS
USA
Ralph Fiennes is a sinister chef with a deviously designed menu dished out on a remote island to a group of complacent and pompous foodies.

In Detail

Sharp, cruel, and cathartic, ‘The Menu’ is a sublime blast at the extreme wealth and the extreme stupidity of high-end restaurant excess. There is much fun to be had with the age-old setup of strangers brought to an isolated location for a pernicious reason.

A select group of 12 people who have paid an exorbitant amount of money for a reservation at Hawthorne. Hawthorne is an award-winning restaurant located on its own private island whose head chef named Slowik (Ralph Fiennes) is largely considered the best in the world. Every dish has someone in its sights in this deliciously perverse and subversive black comedy.
