In Detail

A GREENER SCREEN Stories celebrating the beauty of our natural world

A film about home, memory and epochal change, this lyrical documentary about Iceland’s vanishing glaciers is less a polemic on the effects of climate change, and more of a deeply personal braiding together of a family history, mythology and climate science to tell a meandering but mesmeric tale of dying glaciers, climate meltdown and intergenerational communication.

Time and Water weaves together family archive film and newly shot footage, digital and 16mm, of Iceland’s spectacular but rapidly changing landscape.

There will be an introduction and 15m short film called 'Bill's Story' presented by Louise MacCallum, Project Manager of the Solent Seascape project before the main feature
