After 2015's hugely successful 'Aida' on Sydney Harbour, Handa Opera returned in 2016 with their most exciting opera to date: 'Turandot'. When the heroic high notes of 'Nessun Dorma' ring out, your soul stirs. It's impossible to resist - the climax of an exotic adventure, captured perfectly in music.

Set against the magnificent backdrop of the Sydney Opera House, Puccini's 'Turandot' recounts the Chinese fable of the beautiful and powerful Princess Turandot, who challenges her many suitors to answer three riddles on pain of death. No one has ever succeeded, until a young brave Prince named Calaf declares his love for the princess and answers correctly.
