In Detail

A GRAND DAY OUT - Wallace and Gromit find themselves desperate for "a nice bit of Gorgonzola", so they build a rocket ship and blast off for a cheesy lunar picnic!
This was the first short-film adventure of Wallace and Gromit, created by clay animator Nick Park over a six-year period at the National Film & Television School, and at the Aardman Animation studios that Park boosted to international acclaim.
1989 - 24m

THE WRONG TROUSERS - Wallace gifts Gromit his latest invention - mechanical "techno-trousers". But things go from bad to worse when a new boarder arrives - a suspicious-looking penguin.
Clay-animation master Nick Park deservedly won the 1993 Academy Award for Best Animated Short for this 30-minute masterpiece
1993 - 30m

A CLOSE SHAVE – The duo meets lovely wool-shop owner Wendolene and her malevolent dog Preston - mastermind of a sheep-napping scheme! Features Shaun the Sheep.
This is so technically impressive (also an Oscar-winner) that the whole world wondered where Park could go next. It was no surprise, therefore, to find him making the transition to the big screen with 'Chicken Run'.
1995 - 31m

Tickets £2.50 N.B. This is a family promotion to introduce more families to the cinema, so it is exclusively for adults accompanied by a child and children by an adult. If we have any remaining tickets, we will open this up to unaccompanied adults a week prior to the screening.
