Stories of the change-makers and the active repair generation
Justine Aldersley-Williams, a Wirral-based regenerative clothing activist, botanical textile dyer and founder of the Northern England Fibreshed, along with a community of volunteers in the industrial heartland of British textiles, sets out to do something unprecedented – to grow a pair of jeans from scratch, planting flax and indigo, spinning yarn and weaving cloth.
This inspiring and uplifting film is about perseverance, interconnectedness and hope, and is a must-see for anyone who cares about making truly sustainable textiles.
Sue Gilson of Transition Chichester will moderate a Q&A with Justine Aldersley-Williams after the film.
