You can expect three huge blockbusters this season: Steven Spielberg’s ‘Disclosure Day’, Christopher Nolan’s ‘The Odyssey’ and Pixar’s ‘Toy Story 5’.
The first is Nolan's ('Oppenheimer', 'Interstellar', 'Dunkirk') new epic about the story of Homer's 'The Odyssey', and starring an A-list cast that includes Matt Damon, Anne Hathaway and Tom Holland. The second is Spielberg's ('Schindler's List', 'E.T.', 'Saving Private Ryan') sci-fi drama starring Emily Blunt, Josh O'Connor and Colin Firth. The third is the latest instalment of the most successful animation franchise in cinema history.

These will complement a season filled to the brim with quality UK and World cinema. Look out for 'Leonora in the Morning Light' (Mex/Ger), 'Eagles of the Republic' (Egy), 'The Last Viking' (Den), 'A Private Room' (Fra), 'The Last One for the Road' (Ita) and 'The Furious' (Chi) to name but a few.

Other films to take note of are 'Virginia Woolf's Night and Day' based on a lesser known Woolf novel, the comedy drama 'Power Ballad' (Ire/USA), the hard-hitting Stephen Graham-led 'The Good Boy', Olivia Wilde's new grown-up comedy 'The Invite' and the controversial 'Rosebush Pruning'.

We also have tie-ins with the Chichester Festival Theatre's amazing 2026 season: 'Enduring Love' and 'On Chesil Beach' complementing the CFT's 'Atonement'; plus a talk on 'Lerner, Loewe... and Shaw' accompanying the classic 'My Fair Lady' complementing the CFT's own production of 'My Fair Lady'.

A couple of other strands to note:
We have the first three films in our Rip it Up season, supported by the BFI -'Pride', 'This is England' and 'Quadrophenia'; and a special offering of three operas from Italy - 'Lohengrin' from Rome, plus 'Eugene Onegin' and 'Cosi Fan Tutti' from La Scalla in Milan.
