Suleiman stars as himself, a filmmaker who travels away from Palestine seeking an alternative homeland, only to find that Palestine is trailing behind him. The promise of a new life turns into a comedy of errors: however far he travels, from Paris to New York, something always reminds him of home.

An entrancing blend of the poignant and the absurd, ‘It Must Be Heaven’ finds Suleiman returning to action in peak form. He manages to create a unique inventive film that is both touching and hilarious at the same time.
