The son of a chemist, Champion showjumper Nick Skelton rode his first pony Oxo at the tender age of just 18 months.
In 2000 he broke his neck in a bad fall; two years later, he was back in the saddle, and grabbing the reins once again, winning Olympic gold twice, first in London in 2012, then aged 58, at Rio in 2016 (with a replacement hip), becoming the oldest British winner of an individual Olympic gold medal in more than 100 years.
This inspiring documentary shows Skelton embracing all things equestrian from an early age, leaping across fences as a youth and putting in the hard graft of mucking out the stables, and caring for the horses. A must for horse lovers and budding showjumpers.
